The cabinets are made from the highest quality materials, laminated at moderate temperatures and very high pressure. This allows us to build extremely inert cabinets which provide very realistic and emotionally stirring sound reproduction. The curved cabinets eliminate harmonic distortion and standing waves, thus improving efficiency. The aerodynamic profile streamlines airflow around the cabinet improving overall response.
A curved front panel eliminates mechanical distortion generated from the drivers.

An angled front provides precise phase alignment of the tweeter and front woofers giving extremely accurate and precise imaging as well as improving overall smoothness. Neodymium magnets are used in both the tweeter and woofer allowing us to improve transient response (attack) and reduce distortion, especially in the first 100 milliseconds when it is critical in creating sound reality.

They have a sealed chamber for the top two woofers. This allows us to get a very tight but seemlessley integrated mid range. We also utilise airflow control internally that allows us to draw any reflections from the back of the driver until the SPL has dropped to such an extent that they are no longer discernable. There is a down firing ported chamber for the bottom two woofers; as well as very accurate internal air flow control as in the top chamber. This allows us to achieve a very accurate and well integrated bass extension.

The M5 incorporates our Torridial Tweeter specifically designed for us by Arvus. Featuring all of the smoothness of a silk tweeter. Due to the unique design siblance, which can occur with silk dome tweeters, has been virtually eliminated and the off access response increased. These attributes improve over all smoothness, especially at high volumes but also greatly enhances imaging and stage presence.
